Very unique and enjoyable dining experience. The food is incredible and the service and recommendations for food and drink given by the family throughout make it feel personal. One of us was vegetarian and they were accommodating of that. Would highly recommend

Susana and Luiz are a truly authentic and skilled duo. The atmosphere they’ve crafted, paired with their incredible cuisine, makes for a memorable experience. We’ve enjoyed some of the best meals in this region at their establishment. The service was outstanding, and every dish and wine was thoughtfully sourced from local providers, with plenty of options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. The quirky decor and soulful music create the perfect vibes for you to spend your evening and have as much food as you can fit!

Friendly, cosy and delicious! This hidden gem has something for everyone, the chef was so accommodating and prepared many delicious fresh vegan options even though they weren’t on the menu. By the way there is no menu but a face to face with the chef who presents the options. Don’t hesitate to check it out!

Everything was so perfect! We came to this area for celebrating my birthday, and we found this restaurant as a treasure. We were eating there on the first night, but after coming back on the second evening too. I liked the ambient, music, service, food and drink. Thank you. We will come back next year!

Céu da Boca offered the BEST food we tasted in all of Mondim de Basto! With a beautiful view of Monte Farinha overlooking the town, we enjoyed dining on the terrace. No menu was offered, instead the family provide recommendations based on which fresh ingredients are available locally - everything is sourced from local producers from within a bicycle ride of the restaurant! We enjoyed a tasty selection platter of local specialities, followed by a dish of chicken with chestnuts and mushrooms, accompanied by a delicious 'strawberry sangria' made with local sparkling wine and strawberries! To top it all off, the price was VERY reasonable!Our thanks and highest compliments go out to Sandra, the chef, and all the family for their kind hospitality and service.

I had an amazing time in this restaurant. Best service from the husband of the owner, besutiful terrace and Jazz music fitting the setting. Everyting over the food, the bottle of wine and the service deserves morw than 5 stars. I stayed 2 weeks in Portugal and this was my best food experience.
